Abstract: The study aims to identify the factors leading to smoking among girls in Saudi society, social, psychological economic, media and technological, using descriptive analytical method. The study community consists of students of Princess Nora Bent Abdul Rahman University. The study found that the most important social factors are leisure time and poor companionship. The girl sat constantly with friends of smokers and the girl wanted to experiment with smoking. Of the adventure and the weakness of self-censorship and the weakness of the religious faith and the belief that smoking removes the worry and the feeling of malaise and depression. The most important economic factors are: persuasion and provision by friends and the belief that smoking is a sign of evolution and keep pace with change, media and technological factors, the most prominent is the proliferation of electronic smoking methods and the impact of views through the media and the Internet and the belief that smoking is not considered a haram and a manifestation of civilization and luxury and Highlight attractive characters for smokers through serials and movies. The study presented a number of recommendations, including: Providing activities that allow girls to spend their free time in a positive way, and the need for girls to follow the family in choosing good companionship, and educating girls about the danger of sitting with friends of smokers, believing that smoking is a sign of evolution and keeping pace with change.
