This study entitled “The modern cultural contents in modern Arabic teaching books in the series of (Kalemh & Nagam)” identifies the most important cultural contents in the series of (Kalemh & Nagam), that considered the international standards for language teaching. This series is prepared by specialists and considered one of the modern educational series that was written for non-Arabic speakers, and was designed in accordance with the American ACTFL framework. The study relies on the descriptive and analytical approach to cultural content by following what was stated in the introduction and extrapolating the three parts of the series. The importance of the study arises from focusing on the cultural contents that impact on the language learner’s level of motivation and development. The main results showed that the authors of these series considered the cultural contents as found in ACTFL standards. The main recommendation of the study is to emphasize the necessity of adhering to specific standards for cultural content when writing the learning books. Additionally, it is important to refer to the learners’ needs when presenting the cultural and social aspects.
